Message from the 36th Annual Meeting of The Japanese Society of Toxicology.
I would like to invite you to attend the 36th Annual Meeting of The Japanese Society of Toxicology.
Our understanding in toxicology has been greatly advanced by the finding of new proteins and receptors in the living organism during this decade. New technologies for the large-scale study of proteins, particularly their structures and functions, and for the intensive studies to determine the entire DNA sequence of organisms and fine-scale genetic mapping are now available. On the other hand, urgent mechanistic studies to encourage global actions to reduce or eliminate releases of new types of persistent organic pollutants are called for. Toxicologists also have to do the evidence-based estimation of the safety of food and drugs. In order to meet these social requirements, The Meeting will focus on the gContribution of toxicologist to the benefit of the society and the purpose-oriented education of the toxicologisth, in addition to cutting-edge topics in the various fields of toxicological sciences. The program includes several plenary and other special lectures, symposia, workshops, and platform and poster presentations. The meeting also offers Exhibitions and Luncheon Seminars to gain first-hand knowledge about the novel products and services of the participating exhibitors and organizers.
